Der Biologe und Philosoph Andreas Weber entwickelte die Idee der „erotischen Ökologie, mit deren Hilfe wir in eine neuartige, für Veränderung offene Beziehung zur uns umgebenden Natur, zu unseren Mitmenschen und nicht zuletzt zu uns selbst eintreten.“
Die Voraussetzung dafür sei, dass wir uns von der Welt wirklich berühren lassen und wir unsererseits die Welt berühren. Aus seiner Sicht ist jeder Sinnesvorgang eine Berührung: Schallwellen berühren das Trommelfell. Lichtstrahlen fallen durch die Pupille und berühren die dahinter liegende Linse. Duftstoffe berühren die Riechzellen.
TheCreature lädt dich in „die berührbar“ ein:
„Wie würdest du gerne berührt werden?“
„Wie würdest du gerne berühren?“
Für die Dauer von drei Minuten kannst du dich berühren lassen oder du berührst TheCreature: mit einem Tanz von dir oder für dich. Oder dem Vorlesen eines Gedichts. Dem Lauschen eines Liedes…
In einer Eins-zu-Eins Situation handelst du mit TheCreature aus, was passieren soll und für wen es passieren soll.
Und nur JA heißt JA.
Am 24.10.2025 öffnet „die berührbar“ im Rahmen des Festivals blank-spaces zum ersten Mal ihre Pforten.
Es geht hier in diesem Rahmen ausdrücklich nicht um sexuell konnotierte Berührungen, sondern um Berührung im o.g. Sinne.

Biologist and philosopher Andreas Weber developed the idea of ‘erotic ecology, which helps us enter into a new kind of relationship with the natural world around us, with our fellow human beings and, last but not least, with ourselves, one that is open to change.’
The prerequisite for this, he says, is that we allow ourselves to be truly touched by the world and that we, in turn, touch the world. In his view, every sensory process is a touch: sound waves touch the eardrum. Light rays fall through the pupil and touch the lens behind it. Fragrances touch the olfactory cells.
TheCreature invites you to ‘die berührbar’ (the touchable):
‘How would you like to be touched?’
‘How would you like to touch?’
For three minutes, you can let yourself be touched or you can touch TheCreature: with a dance by you or for you. Or by reading a poem aloud. By listening to a song…
In a one-to-one situation, you negotiate with TheCreature what should happen and for whom it should happen.
And only YES means YES.
On 24 October 2025, ‘die berührbar’ will open its doors for the first time as part of the blank-spaces festival.
This is expressly not about touching with sexual connotations, but about touching in the sense described above.
